12/23/2005 - NEW DROP TEST DATES
drop test will be playing the Underground Saloon X-Mas Party on December 23 and new shows have been added for 2006 including February 11 at the Guitar Bar on Water Street. Click drop test tour dates for more information.
10/19/2005 - GHOST DANCE NOW AVAILABLE

8/10/2005 - DROP TEST ON HIATUS
We are taking a hiatus until October to relax, finish the new album, and work on new material. Thanks for everyone's support. We will be playing plenty of shows starting in October in support of "Conversation Piece".

4/26/2005 - UPCOMING DROP TEST SHOWS AT THE RAVE IN MAY
drop test has two upcoming shows in May at The Rave. drop test opens for dredg on May 10 and competes in the Regional Final of the Emergenza band competition on May 28th. Come back soon for updates on other upcoming concerts.

4/5/05 - DROP TEST ADVANCES TO EMERGENZA REGIONAL FINALS
drop test has advanced to the regional finals of the 2005 Emergenza international band competition! We played Sunday night and tied for 1st place (out of 8 total bands). We will be playing in the regional finals Saturday, May 28th 2005 at the Rave in Milwaukee!!
If we win the Regional Final, we will play in Detroit in June. The winner from Detroit moves onto Boston, and the winner from Boston goes to Germany for 3 days in August!
We will have tickets available soon for the Regional Final, I'll let you know as soon as we do!

11/10/2004 - FOUR UPCOMING DROP TEST SHOWS
drop test has 4 more shows coming up before the end of the year including drop test's first-ever all-acoustic show on 11/13. Also, drop test will be participating in the 2005 Emergenza Music Festival (an international battle of the bands) which will take place in early spring 2005, more details will follow soon!!
8/9/2004 - DROP TEST RECORDING 2ND ALBUM
drop test is back in the studio recording our 2nd album, tentatively titled "Conversation Piece". We are currently finishing up writing the last few songs and are shooting for an early/middle 2005 release date. drop test has several shows coming up in the Milwaukee area, check out our tour dates page for more info! about drop test
drop test formed in late 2000 and began playing shows in the Oshkosh, WI area. John and Nigel started playing as an acoustic duo dubbed "The Super Ugly Guys" in mid/late 2000 in Oshkosh. Prior to graduating from UW-Oshkosh in 2000, Nigel started jamming with Joe and Ryan in Germantown, WI. The band played together for the first time in late 2000. The rest, as they say, is mid-tempo rock history.
